Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Mariano Lacasa got the match started through his kick off. Alianza Trujillo's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Froilan Pascual in the 10th minute. A collision led to Alianza Trujillo getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Carlos Marchena hit a great ball. 13 minutes into the match, Alianza Trujillo's Marcelito Vivar sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Thiago Pliego narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The Alianza Trujillo fans' excitement grew in the 16th match minute when Alianza Trujillo's Szilveszter Szegh looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Tomas Brandt made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 21st minute. Chile's Francisco Carballar managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Carlos Marchena in the 35 minute of the game. Mariano Lacasa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tomas Brandt read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. After 44 played minutes Alianza Trujillo got a freekick which was hit by Dong Ping Sheng. Chile's Mariano Lacasa shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 44th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Tomas Brandt but with some difficulty. Dong Ping Sheng kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cayetano Montez was the one to do the kick off. Alianza Trujillo's Tomas Brandt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 54th minute of play. 54 minutes into the match, Mariano Lacasa notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Alianza Trujillo's Tomas Brandt. Tomas Brandt was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Tomas Brandt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 59th minute of play. Mariano Lacasa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomas Brandt having to interfere. Thiago Pliego made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Marcelito Vivar sent off a good shot on target. Ramon Martinos short, quick shot in the 69thth minute got Thiago Pliego to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Tomas Brandt came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by Chile's Mariano Lacasa. But to his dismay, Mariano Lacasa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Alianza Trujillo's Olly Morgan was substituted for Marcelito Vivar. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind Alianza Trujillo's goalkeeper Tomas Brandt, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 80 minutes into the match, Chile's Mariano Lacasa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tomas Brandt narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 81 minutes Alianza Trujillo's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Mariano Lacasa who took care of the corner kick. Xavier Figueroa made a great header on Chile's corner, it was just that Alianza Trujillo's Tomas Brandt managed to reach the ball for a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Guillermo Fontirroig in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tomas Brandt saved Alianza Trujillo from getting behind. In the 95th minute Pudes Vilas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Pliego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alianza Trujillo's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
