Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Joel Gaona kicked off to start the match. In the 4th minute, Egil Mellberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 5th minute of play forced PrimeTimeBoys FC's goalkeeper Torsten Melberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 13 minutes into the match, Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Majed Ben Ashimi. Lautaro Mancebo struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Torsten Melberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mexico. PrimeTimeBoys FC's Torsten Melberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 19th minute of play. Dante Lacasa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Erik Hegg in the 22nd minute. If Majed Ben Ashimi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Mexico's Dante Lacasa got control of the ball when Erik Hegg tried to sneak it across the goal line. Torsten Melberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 31st minute of play. Dante Lacasa was a little too slow when Michel Toledo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 33rd minute. The score was now 1-0. Mexico's Dante Lacasa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Mexico from getting a goal against them. Dante Lacasa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Majed Ben Ashimi in the 46th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

In the 53rd minute, Facundo Cadaval fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erik Hegg in the 58th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Torsten Melberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 59th minute of the match. A collision led to PrimeTimeBoys FC getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Hampus Hagberg hit a great ball. In the 70th minute, PrimeTimeBoys FC's Jēkabs Eizentāls seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Jēkabs Eizentāls the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of PrimeTimeBoys FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Jēkabs Eizentāls had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 69 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for PrimeTimeBoys FC! In the 79th minute, Joel Gaona ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Torsten Melberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. When Joel Gaona came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Mexico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joel Gaona couldn't finish the play. Lautaro Mancebo struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Torsten Melberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mexico. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luca Zorita during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 97th minute, Vilgot Uggla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Joel Gaona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 100th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mexico were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
