Daniel Zorita might have been able to make a better finish in the 10th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Edward Sitko. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Daniel Zorita ran back to his position shaking his head. Edward Sitko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Agustín Saelices, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The IGloopoL fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edward Sitko should have stopped the shot. Edward Sitko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 25th minute of the match. In the 25th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edward Sitko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the last second Julio Vera throw himself and got hold of the ball when Roland Soszka in the 31stth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Luis Andino hit a great ball. In the 33rd match minute, IGloopoL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roland Soszka to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 34th minute of play forced IGloopoL's goalkeeper Edward Sitko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Sancho got free with Edward Sitko in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
