Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Joel Gaona took the kick off in the first half of the match. After having played for 3 minutes, Joel Gaona managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mexico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joel Gaona was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lautaro Mancebo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teófilo Belém having to interfere. In the 12th minute Virgílio Serpa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lautaro Mancebo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Teófilo Belém tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frits Evenhuis, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. 16 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Frits Evenhuis came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Teófilo Belém made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Teófilo Belém showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. The supporters of Mexico booed when MC ESPANHOL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mauro Nascimento didn't get a good kick on the ball. The wind increased when Frits Evenhuis made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes in the game, Virgílio Serpa fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Dante Lacasa having to interfere. Frits Evenhuis scored 1-1 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dante Lacasa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a little luck, Mexico's Dante Lacasa got control of the ball when Kostas Sourpis tried to sneak it across the goal line. Kostas Sourpis who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 74thth minute tested the skills of Dante Lacasa when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 76th minute, Lautaro Mancebo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Teófilo Belém didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lautaro Mancebo went, in the 78th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. After 81 minutes, Kostas Sourpis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the MC ESPANHOL and the Mexico players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 81 played minutes MC ESPANHOL got a freekick which was hit by Kostas Sourpis. After a rather tough play, MC ESPANHOL's Kostas Sourpis got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Lautaro Mancebo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Teófilo Belém read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. In the 89th minute, Joel Gaona left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mexico fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Mauro Nascimento kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Lautaro Mancebo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Teófilo Belém tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Mexico fans cheered their team off the field, for while MC ESPANHOL had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
