The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xie Zheng Liang, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. He walked away shaking his head. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miguel Ángel Riesco in the 20th minute of play. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from John Snow in the 21st minute of play. The corner led TurboUC's Salomón Avendaño to fire away a dangerous shot which Dante Lacasa despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Mexico fans cheered their team off the field, for while TurboUC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
