FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s Niculae Rădvan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 9th minute of play. Peru's supporters crossed their fingers, but Julian Murillo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Niculae Rădvan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Julian Murillo went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 29th minute of play forced FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s goalkeeper Niculae Rădvan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

With an all-out effort, FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s Rolando Noboa threw himself towards the right post 94 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Cristi Ciprian, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 95 minutes into the game, one of FC PIETROSUL -MM-:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. 97 minutes into the game, Peru's Eliseo Mina nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Niculae Rădvan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Peru had played much better football throughout.
