Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Daniel Zorita took the kick off in the first half of the match. Lindar Månsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Felix Montes hit a great ball. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andrievs Žuromskis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Primitivo Andino got a free kick in the 40th minute. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Flóki Ólafsson in the 41st minute of play. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erland Söderberg having to interfere. 44 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Erland Söderberg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Armando Paraibano to make the kick off. Erland Söderberg didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Daniel Zorita went, in the 53rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Flóki Ólafsson in the 61st minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 62 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ecuador's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Tobias Stenström was slow to take the kick. During this time Fomac FK's players had a chance to rest. In the 65th minute, Cristian Sancho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Erland Söderberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Agustín Saelices, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 67 minutes into the game, Camilo Gisbert was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ecuador's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fomac FK the free kick. Camilo Gisbert hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Jonny Brattås kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Fomac FK's Erland Söderberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 70th minute of play. 71 minutes into the game, Daniel Zorita cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Erland Söderberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After having played for 79 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 82nd minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erland Söderberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Erland Söderberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Agustín Saelices in the 83rd minute of the match. In the 84th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Fomac FK's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Cristian Sancho almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Fomac FK's Erland Söderberg did a great save. 86 minutes had been played when some careless play by Fomac FK's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. Felix Montenegro was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. 91 minutes into the game, Cristian Sancho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Erland Söderberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ecuador's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
