After 3 played minutes, Panama's Abraham Alguacil shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper 曲义夕 came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Panama reached it. 5 minutes into the match, 马大哈's goal looked a bit too open when Isidoro Sarmiento came free, but 曲义夕 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Panama's Tomas Berganza got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Panama getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Felipe Ros hit a great ball. After 17 minutes of play, 马大哈's 白亮平 made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcos Cotilla was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 21st minute Tomas Berganza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 曲义夕 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 白亮平 scored 1-2 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marcos Cotilla, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 肖文林's late challenge caught a Panama's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. 肖文林 helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, 马大哈's 肖文林 got a free kick in the 30th minute. 马大哈's 曲义夕 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Berganza in the 33rd minute of play. Panama's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Abraham Alguacil in the 35th minute. The corner led to Panama's Miguel Miralles getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. After 39 minutes of play, Panama's Abraham Alguacil made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. 曲义夕 was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of 马大哈 booed when Panama was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomas Berganza didn't get a good kick on the ball. 曲义夕 made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Miguel Miralles sent off a good shot on target.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and 白亮平 made a kick off. Marcos Cotilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 肖文林, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. The supporters of Panama booed when 马大哈 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. 肖文林 didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Miguel Miralles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 曲义夕 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matthew Garrido in the 58th minute of the match. Panama's Abraham Alguacil got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by 徐挺锋 during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 65 played minutes 马大哈 got a freekick which was hit by 徐挺锋. Marcos Cotilla didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 71st minute, which inside left pole to 4-3. After some careless play in the Panama defense, 肖文林 kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcos Cotilla. The Panama fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcos Cotilla should have stopped the shot. Marcos Cotilla was a little too slow when 肖文林 got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 81st minute. The score was now 4-5. In the 91st minute of the match Panama got a corner. 马大哈's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Abraham Alguacil ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led to Panama's Alex Cambeiro getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. A collision led to 马大哈 getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. 肖文林 hit a great ball. In the 95th match minute, 马大哈 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 麦明亮 to maneuver through the defense. 马大哈 succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Panama had controlled the match.
