After having played for 12 minutes, Moises Tafalla managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Honduras's supporters crossed their fingers, but Moises Tafalla was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Honduras from getting a goal against them. Honduras's defense didn't have a chance, in the 15th minute, when Oscar Näfver scored to the left of an out of position Lautaro Navarro, making the score, 1-0. When the match clock showed 19 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Edmundo Espiga sped through Terra Scaniae's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Khodadad Khan. The audience thought a goal was coming when Anders Lingren got free with Lautaro Navarro in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Khodadad Khan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. After 25 minutes, Frans Hedling mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Terra Scaniae and the Honduras players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Terra Scaniae's Frans Hedling got a free kick in the 25th minute. 26 minutes into the match, Christian Sancho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Khodadad Khan. Terra Scaniae's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Christian Sancho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Khodadad Khan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Moises Tafalla in the 33rd minute of the match. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anders Lingren couldn't finish the play. The Terra Scaniae players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Honduras were winning 1-2.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edmundo Espiga made a kick off. Luca Espinar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Terra Scaniae's zone, Edmundo Espiga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Khodadad Khan came out of the goal and Edmundo Espiga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Terra Scaniae getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Kent Gunnarsson hit a great ball. 56 minutes into the match, Terra Scaniae's goalkeeper Khodadad Khan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edmundo Espiga. Luca Espinar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Khodadad Khan having to interfere. When Honduras's Edmundo Espiga in the 64th minute got a chance for a shot 64th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Terra Scaniae's goalie prevented a goal. Honduras's Moises Tafalla got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Khodadad Khan was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Moises Tafalla showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-5 in the 75 minute of play. Edmundo Espiga might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Khodadad Khan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edmundo Espiga ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 79th minute of play forced Terra Scaniae's goalkeeper Khodadad Khan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Honduras's Luca Espinar got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Edmundo Espiga scored 1-6 in the 87th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Khodadad Khan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Honduras's zone, Oscar Näfver stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lautaro Navarro came out of the goal and Oscar Näfver tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Honduras played a much better game than Terra Scaniae and deserved their victory. The Terra Scaniae players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
