Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Mazinho Vasco started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 3rd minute of play forced DOE FC's goalkeeper Kirk Lafond to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kirk Lafond didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Felix Montenegro went, in the 6th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 9th minute, Agustín Saelices ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kirk Lafond was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. 13 minutes into the match, DOE FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Kirk Lafond reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kirk Lafond made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Andino in the 18th minute of play. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Antonio Arias hit a great ball. Kirk Lafond took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luis Andino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kirk Lafond having to interfere. In the 32nd minute, Daniel Zorita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice moves Mazinho Vasco could shoot a difficult shot in the 40th minute, which Julio Vera however easily saved by the left post.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Sancho got free with Kirk Lafond in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 52nd minute. A nice corner shot did that Daniel Zorita got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Kirk Lafond quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marquis Frank in the 53rd minute of play. Tyler Bowser hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. 60 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kirk Lafond narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 61 minutes into the match, DOE FC's goalkeeper Kirk Lafond had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 62th minute after DOE FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. Daniel Zorita made a great header on Ecuador's corner, it was just that DOE FC's Kirk Lafond managed to reach the ball for a save. After some careless play in the Ecuador defense, Marquis Frank kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julio Vera. The Ecuador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julio Vera should have stopped the shot. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mazinho Vasco in the 67th minute of play. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 71 minutes into the match, DOE FC's goalkeeper Kirk Lafond had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. After having played for 72 minutes, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Sancho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 76 minutes DOE FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Daniel Zorita almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but DOE FC's Kirk Lafond did a great save. A hard shot 76 in the game by Luis Andino from a close distance when the talented Kirk Lafond managed to make a qualified save. DOE FC's players were relieved. Daniel Zorita blasted a shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kirk Lafond having to make a save. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antwan Gallagher, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kirk Lafond showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luis Andino, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. 89 minutes into the game, Garfield Tovar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. DOE FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. After 89 played minutes DOE FC got a freekick which was hit by Garfield Tovar. 90 minutes into the game, Tyler Bowser was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player.
