In the 15th minute, Eleuterio Mirande got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Colombia from getting a goal against them. Gabby Arias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kevin Mastache, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ilulea FC's attentive Marian Golembiewski managed to snatch the ball when Antonio Indiano made a throw-in in the 25th minute of the game. If Eleuterio Mirande had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eleuterio Mirande got free with Pedro Manzanares in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Pedro Manzanares didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eleuterio Mirande went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Colombia from getting a goal against them. Luis Cazalla scored 2-1 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gabby Arias, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Abram Sarmiento sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Martin Gorbea kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Ilulea FC's Gabby Arias played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Axel Montenegro in the 45th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. 史铮坤 was the one to do the kick off. Pedro Manzanares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 史铮坤 in the 52nd minute of the match. 史铮坤 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Ilulea FC's Viktor Häger got a free kick in the 55th minute. Gabby Arias didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Colombia. 74 minutes into the match, 史铮坤 had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pedro Manzanares. Colombia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that 史铮坤 was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. The throw-in from Martin Gorbea in the 76th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Colombia's Pascual Carballar. With a little luck, Ilulea FC's Gabby Arias got control of the ball when Abram Secada tried to sneak it across the goal line. 87 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ilulea FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Kevin Mastache was slow to take the kick. During this time Colombia's players had a chance to rest. Kevin Mastache made a great header on Colombia's corner, it was just that Ilulea FC's Gabby Arias managed to reach the ball for a save. Gabby Arias made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Abram Secada sent off a good shot on target. In the 90th minute, Marian Golembiewski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. For all the effort they put into the match, the Colombia players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Ilulea FC.
