The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th of the match, Alper Benli tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Thiago Pliego got in the way and made a wonderful save. In the 8th match minute, Chile was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gerardo Pozo to maneuver through the defense. In the last second Thiago Pliego throw himself and got hold of the ball when Mădălin Cangeopol in the 10thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. In the 12th minute Tractorul Satulung -MM- were awarded a corner. Heintje Gamarra went to the cornerflag to take it. Heintje Gamarra made a great header on Tractorul Satulung -MM-'s corner, it was just that Chile's Thiago Pliego managed to reach the ball for a save. Chile's Thiago Pliego proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Chile from getting a goal against them. 27 minutes into the game, Mădălin Cangeopol cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Thiago Pliego was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Thiago Pliego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mădălin Cangeopol in the 32nd minute of play. In the 40th match minute, Chile was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gerardo Pozo to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Mădălin Cangeopol managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tractorul Satulung -MM-'s supporters rose to their feet, but Mădălin Cangeopol was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Thiago Pliego breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thiago Pliego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mădălin Cangeopol in the 43rd minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mădălin Cangeopol to strike the kick off in the second half. 65 minutes into the match, Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Alper Benli came free, but Thiago Pliego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 67th minute of play forced Tractorul Satulung -MM-'s goalkeeper Panait Hațegan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 69 minutes into the match, Tractorul Satulung -MM-'s goalkeeper Panait Hațegan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mariano Lacasa. 78 minutes into the game, Wesley Sneijder cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Thiago Pliego was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 82 minutes into the match, Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Mădălin Cangeopol came free, but Thiago Pliego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Panait Hațegan came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by Chile's Orlando Casaus. But to his dismay, Orlando Casaus quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Thiago Pliego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wesley Sneijder in the 89th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mariano Lacasa got free with Panait Hațegan in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Chile getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Gerardo Pozo hit a great ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Chile players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Tractorul Satulung -MM-.
