The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Velimir Popchev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 4th minute of the match. Velimir Popchev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliseo Mina in the 6th minute of play. Peru's attentive Eliseo Mina managed to snatch the ball when Erkan Okan made a throw-in in the 9th minute of the game. In the 11thth minute of the game Julian Murillo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but VN Keleler's Velimir Popchev was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 12 minutes into the match, Peru's Julian Murillo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Velimir Popchev narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Velimir Popchev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. 15 minutes into the game, Hakkı Kenan Pınar cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Rolando Noboa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. VN Keleler's Velimir Popchev proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save VN Keleler from getting a goal against them. In the 20th minute Hakkı Kenan Pınar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 22nd minute, Joaquin Prats hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Peru's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Doychin Konsulov was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Julian Murillo came free with the goalkeeper in the 35th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Velimir Popchev could save by the left post. Doychin Konsulov kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Seyit Bozbey in the 40th minute of play. In the 45th minute Doychin Konsulov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 46 minutes into the match, Peru's Julian Murillo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Velimir Popchev narrowly saved just below the crossbar.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Doychin Konsulov was the one to do the kick off. Rolando Noboa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hakkı Kenan Pınar in the 52nd minute. Doychin Konsulov struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Rolando Noboa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for VN Keleler. VN Keleler's Velimir Popchev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 59th minute of play. 61 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Doychin Konsulov came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Julian Murillo took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Velimir Popchev. Velimir Popchev dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. VN Keleler's Harris Zoolingen was substituted for Doychin Konsulov. The referee felt a red card was in order, 66 minutes into the game, when Joaquin Prats put in a rough tackle. After 66 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Peru! Rolando Noboa had in the 67thth minute some difficulties stopping Stuart Byman's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 69th minute VN Keleler were awarded a corner. Andreas Lund went to the cornerflag to take it. Erkan Okan made in the 73rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Peru's Eliseo Mina. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stuart Byman in the 74th minute of the match. 76 minutes into the game, Erkan Okan threw the ball into play from the sideline. Peru's Eliseo Mina quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After 83 minutes of play, VN Keleler's Harris Zoolingen made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rolando Noboa was left in no man's land by his defense there! Peru made a substitution. Eliseo Alcocer replaced Moises Gayoso. A sloppy throw-in by Pedrão Lira in the 91st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Peru's Anthony Alvarado. After 93 played minutes VN Keleler got a freekick which was hit by Pedrão Lira. Stuart Byman took the ball and in the 98 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rolando Noboa. Rolando Noboa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-5. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. VN Keleler walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
