A sloppy throw-in by Erich Zdražil in the 20th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Honduras's Esteban Carvallo. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edmundo Espiga in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mikoláš Vozka prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lautaro Navarro made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Kryštof Pešl sent off a good shot on target. In the 33rd minute, Edmundo Espiga got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Ivo Kolomazník had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edmundo Espiga made a kick off. In the 54th minute Edmundo Espiga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mikoláš Vozka saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Moises Tafalla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 64th match minute, A.A. Honduras's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because A.A. Čhecos Jrs. had won, even though Honduras had held more of the ball.
