The corner led Ecuador's Felix Montenegro to fire away a dangerous shot which Tolga Sezen despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After 3 minutes of play, Ecuador's Felix Montenegro made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tolga Sezen was left in no man's land by his defense there! Saray Spor's Tolga Sezen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Montenegro in the 9th minute of play. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Saray Spor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arif Gaffar Mazlum didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cristian Sancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cristian Sancho struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Tolga Sezen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Ahmet Sedat Acemoğlu tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Saray Spor's Fernando de Souza got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Ahmet Sedat Acemoğlu sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristian Sancho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tolga Sezen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 32 minutes into the match, Saray Spor's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Tolga Sezen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 40th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tolga Sezen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmet Sedat Acemoğlu in the 67th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 68 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Ahmet Sedat Acemoğlu came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Ahmet Sedat Acemoğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 93rd minute of play forced Saray Spor's goalkeeper Tolga Sezen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ecuador's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Saray Spor had won, even though Ecuador had held more of the ball.
