Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Ad Astra Per Aspera's Sixten Blanck started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Dionisio Etxepare made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Andino in the 3rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 4th minute of play forced Ad Astra Per Aspera's goalkeeper Dionisio Etxepare to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 5 minutes Ad Astra Per Aspera's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. A collision led to Ad Astra Per Aspera getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Paulo Oxarra hit a great ball. Dionisio Etxepare showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Paulo Oxarra tried to sneak it across the goal line. Paulo Oxarra could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. Maximo Lehen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After taking down the ball on Ecuador's corner Cristian Sancho fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Dionisio Etxepare quite easily take care of the ball. Dionisio Etxepare took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dionisio Etxepare showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Dionisio Etxepare showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Andino in the 22nd minute of the match. After some careless play in the Ad Astra Per Aspera defense, Daniel Zorita kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dionisio Etxepare. The Ad Astra Per Aspera fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dionisio Etxepare should have stopped the shot. 27 minutes into the match, Juan Sebastián Puig had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dionisio Etxepare. Ad Astra Per Aspera's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Juan Sebastián Puig was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. 33 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Sixten Blanck came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Julio Vera didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sixten Blanck went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Daniel Zorita made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Ad Astra Per Aspera was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ecevit Sani didn't get a good kick on the ball. 54 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sixten Blanck in the 57th minute of play. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Dionisio Etxepare made a huge save. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dionisio Etxepare made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 78th minute of play. Luis Andino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dionisio Etxepare having to interfere. Dionisio Etxepare made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristian Sancho in the 83rd minute. Luis Andino blasted a shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dionisio Etxepare having to make a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Sixten Blanck managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ad Astra Per Aspera's supporters rose to their feet, but Sixten Blanck was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Vera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ad Astra Per Aspera's Dionisio Etxepare proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Ad Astra Per Aspera from getting a goal against them. Ecuador played a much better game than Ad Astra Per Aspera and deserved their victory. The Ad Astra Per Aspera players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
