The referee ignored Low Cost FC's protests and gave Gaspar Veremundo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 10th match minute, Low Cost FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gaspar Veremundo to maneuver through the defense. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amancio Harriet, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luis Andino in the 84th minute of play forced Low Cost FC's goalkeeper Julian Elizardo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Low Cost FC players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
