Jacobo Nores was a little too slow when Well-Well Benne got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 14th minute. The score was now 2-0. Jacobo Nores made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Well-Well Benne in the 17th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when He Feng Bin got free with Jacobo Nores in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers He Feng Bin in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jacobo Nores saved Paraguay from getting behind. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hector Covarrubias's late challenge caught a Club Vertigo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hector Covarrubias helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Club Vertigo booed when Paraguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hector Covarrubias didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 33rdth minute of the game Well-Well Benne who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Paraguay's Jacobo Nores was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.
