After 12 minutes of play, TurboUC's Miguel Ángel Riesco made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pedro Manzanares was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 19th minute of the match Juan Eduardo Atenas sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Pedro Manzanares skillfully saved the ball. Orlín Rozas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abram Sarmiento in the 20th minute of play. Miguel Ángel Riesco took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pedro Manzanares. Pedro Manzanares dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. If Xie Zheng Liang had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Orlín Rozas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kevin Mastache in the 29th minute of the match. Kevin Mastache was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 31st minute. Colombia's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Miguel Ángel Riesco might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pedro Manzanares. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Miguel Ángel Riesco ran back to his position shaking his head. Pedro Manzanares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miguel Ángel Riesco, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Pedro Manzanares stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Miguel Ángel Riesco's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. The throw-in from Dušan Tadić in the 44th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Colombia's Kevin Mastache. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

TurboUC's Podador Escudero was substituted for Dušan Tadić. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Salomón Avendaño was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to TurboUC getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Juan Eduardo Atenas hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Axel Montenegro in the 53rd minute of play forced TurboUC's goalkeeper Orlín Rozas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 54th minute, Santino Seco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Orlín Rozas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Axel Montenegro, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Santino Seco scored 1-2 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Orlín Rozas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Orlín Rozas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Santino Seco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. TurboUC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
