Orlín Rozas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abram Sarmiento in the 29th minute of play. In the 32nd minute Abram Sarmiento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Orlín Rozas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Abram Sarmiento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Pedro Manzanares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miguel Ángel Riesco in the 35th minute of the match. 38 minutes into the match, TurboUC's goal looked a bit too open when Abram Sarmiento came free, but Orlín Rozas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 44th minute, Santino Seco fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Orlín Rozas, passed just outside the right post. Kevin Mastache fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Orlín Rozas having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Salomón Avendaño was the one to do the kick off. Miguel Ángel Riesco showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miguel Ángel Riesco in the 96th minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The TurboUC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Colombia from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
