Wictor Gustavsson kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Sam Yang made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sebastian Villa in the 7th minute. After 12 minutes, Joseph Holmberg made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Lautaro Navarro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jim Meck in the 16th minute of the match. When Samba Fotboll U21's Joseph Holmberg in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Honduras's goalie prevented a goal. Honduras's Christian Sancho managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Måns Johansson in the 22 minute of the game. Zé Roberto van Beek got a throw-in 23 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Viktor Sillén. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jim Meck in the 26th minute of play forced Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joseph Holmberg in the 28th minute of play. 33 minutes into the game, Valentín Carvallo threw the ball into play from the sideline. Samba Fotboll U21's Måns Johansson quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Samba Fotboll U21's attentive Wictor Gustavsson managed to snatch the ball when Valentín Carvallo made a throw-in in the 36th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joseph Holmberg in the 41st minute of play forced Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jim Meck made a kick off. Lautaro Navarro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joseph Holmberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Valentín Carvallo made in the 55th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Samba Fotboll U21's Måns Johansson. In the 60th minute Joseph Holmberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lautaro Navarro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joseph Holmberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lautaro Navarro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. Samba Fotboll U21's Oskar Gullesson was substituted for Jim Meck. Lautaro Navarro came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by Samba Fotboll U21's Zygmunt Koprowski. But to his dismay, Zygmunt Koprowski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. In the 85thth minute of the game Zygmunt Koprowski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Honduras's Lautaro Navarro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 87 minutes Honduras's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Elias Meck who took care of the corner kick. In the 88th minute, Fredrik Söderberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sam Yang took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastian Villa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Fredrik Söderberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Samba Fotboll U21's Måns Johansson managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Valentín Carvallo in the 93 minute of the game. Lautaro Navarro made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Oskar Gullesson sent off a good shot on target. In the 95th match minute, Honduras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luca Espinar to maneuver through the defense. The Samba Fotboll U21 players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
