Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Daniel Zorita kicked off to start the match. In the 6th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antonio Križanec saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Danijel Petrlin in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. Camilo Gisbert made in the 11th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Cristian Sancho. The audience was convinced that Danijel Petrlin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. Camilo Gisbert made in the 16th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Felix Montenegro immediately put the ball in play. 17 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Antonio Križanec narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The Ecuador fans' excitement grew in the 20th match minute when Ecuador's Daniel Zorita looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Antonio Križanec came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Cristian Sancho. But to his dismay, Cristian Sancho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 35th minute. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Antonio Križanec tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 41 minutes into the match, Danijel Petrlin notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Ecuador's Julio Vera. Julio Vera was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Danijel Petrlin tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Maksimir players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ecuador were winning 1-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Danijel Petrlin to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Maksimir's Marin Kuharić got a free kick in the 54th minute. 56 minutes into the game, Camilo Gisbert threw the ball into play from the sideline. Maksimir's Marin Kuharić quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Antonio Križanec made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 68th minute. In the 72nd match minute, Maksimir was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mauro Jurišić to maneuver through the defense. After 76 minutes, Daniel Zorita made it 1-3 with a short kick to the right side. Maksimir's Antonio Križanec tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 83 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ecuador's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Adam Dodaj was slow to take the kick. During this time Maksimir's players had a chance to rest. 84 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Adrijan Grbović came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cristian Sancho scored 1-4 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Antonio Križanec, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 88 minutes into the match, Maksimir's Adrijan Grbović sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 90th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the final whistle sounded Ecuador left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Maksimir.
