Nina fc were awarded a corner in the 46th minute after Ecuador's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Aldo Navarro took the corner. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Saul Macerio scored 3-0 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Julio Vera, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Saul Macerio in the 96th minute of the match. Nina fc's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
