In the 4th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Correa to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antwan Gallagher in the 6th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mazinho Vasco in the 7th minute of the match. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Mazinho Vasco tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Jose Correa hit a great ball. 13 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tyler Bowser. The supporters of DOE FC booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Correa didn't get a good kick on the ball. 17 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mazinho Vasco. Venezuela's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Tomas Illescas in the 26th minute. In the 28th minute, Garfield Tovar left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The DOE FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. The supporters of DOE FC booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Correa didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 41st minute Antwan Gallagher shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kirk Lafond made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 42nd minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mazinho Vasco in the 44th minute of the match. Tomas Illescas kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Mazinho Vascos short, quick shot in the 46thth minute got Jonathan Ferrant to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomas Illescas to make the kick off. 61 minutes into the match, Antwan Gallagher had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Antwan Gallagher was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. In the 63rd minute, Jonathan Venegas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Patricio Costa hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. With his leg Kirk Lafond managed to avoid a goal in the 72ndth minute, when Venezuela's Tomas Illescas fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 73rd minute, Rigoberto Mina hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 81 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Antwan Gallagher came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Patricio Costa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Venezuela's supporters rose to their feet, but Patricio Costa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kirk Lafond breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 88th minute, Yann McKinney hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 92nd minute of the match, Patricio Costa tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Kirk Lafond saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antwan Gallagher in the 95th minute of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. DOE FC had played much better football throughout.
