Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Joel Gaona made the kick off and thus started the match. Dante Lacasa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Roni Coryn in the 3rd minute. With a little luck, Mexico's Dante Lacasa got control of the ball when Arnoud Van Gestel tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 7th minute, Boruc Wykowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 10th minute Luca Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leo Dauwen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 11 minutes had been played when some careless play by Bacardi FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Joel Gaona was slow to take the kick. During this time Mexico's players had a chance to rest. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Luca Rouco advanced and headed the ball into goal, 0-1 in the 11th minute. Leo Dauwen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 14th minute of the match. Bacardi FC's Leo Dauwen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 16th minute of play. Alberto Tafalla scored 0-2 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Leo Dauwen, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 20th minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leo Dauwen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 30th minute, Alberto Tafalla ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Leo Dauwen was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Leo Dauwen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 33rd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Lautaro Mancebo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leo Dauwen was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. 39 minutes into the match, Bacardi FC's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Leo Dauwen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 42nd match minute, Mexico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Facundo Cadaval to maneuver through the defense. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

Bacardi FC made a substitution. Karel Christiaens replaced Bob Leerbels. Lautaro Mancebo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leo Dauwen having to interfere. Lautaro Mancebo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roni Coryn, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karel Christiaens in the 79th minute of play. After 80 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Luca Zorita. In the 85th minute of the match, Joel Gaona tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Leo Dauwen saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 86 minutes into the game, Jimmy Wiklund was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bacardi FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mexico the free kick. 95 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Karel Christiaens came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Bacardi FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Mexico were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
