USA's Sam Campbell was substituted for Cassius Byrne. USA's Jacob May shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 88th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Timo Courtois but with some difficulty. If Filippo Inzaghi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. In the 95th minute USA were awarded a corner. Jenson Smith went to the cornerflag to take it. When the match was over USA could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than ≮王者归来≯☆梦B☆〓再续前缘〓 throughout the match.
