Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Edmundo Espiga made the kick off and thus started the match. Honduras's Edmundo Espiga got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 7th match minute, Honduras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valentín Carvallo to maneuver through the defense. Severiano Ebardo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The throw-in from Rosendo Montel in the 13th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Honduras's Valentín Carvallo. A collision led to Atlético Matorrales getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Diego Leocadio hit a great ball. Sebastian Villa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonardo Loco having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Edmundo Espiga's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leonardo Loco was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. In the 24th minute, Edmundo Espiga got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Ambrosio Damario managed to get in a good position for a shot. Atlético Matorrales's supporters rose to their feet, but Ambrosio Damario was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lautaro Navarro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A sloppy throw-in by Rosendo Montel in the 29th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Honduras's Valentín Carvallo. Edmundo Espiga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Leonardo Loco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 36 minutes into the match, Tadeo Quilino had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lautaro Navarro. Honduras's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tadeo Quilino was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Moises Tafalla hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. In the 47th minute, Edmundo Espiga ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Leonardo Loco was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

In the 56th minute, Luca Espinar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Diego Leocadio hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Leonardo Loco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 58th minute of play. Milagros Cabal kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. If Luca Espinar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 66 minutes into the game, Rosendo Montel threw the ball into play from the sideline. Honduras's Valentín Carvallo quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After having played for 69 minutes, Sebastian Villa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Honduras's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sebastian Villa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 73 played minutes Atlético Matorrales got a freekick which was hit by Niceto Sabin. In the 77th match minute, Atlético Matorrales was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iker Tino to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 79th minute of play forced Atlético Matorrales's goalkeeper Leonardo Loco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Honduras's Emanuel Ocampo got a free kick in the 80th minute. When the match had gone on for 85 minutes, Tadeo Quilino put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Lautaro Navarro. Leonardo Loco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 89th minute of the match. Diego Leocadio charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Diego Leocadio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Diego Leocadio hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Leonardo Loco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luca Espinar in the 92nd minute of the match. In the 93rd minute, Tadeo Quilino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sebastian Villa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Atlético Matorrales fans cheered their team off the field, for while Honduras had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
