Ferit Boğatekin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patricio Costa, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. Venezuela's defense didn't have a chance, in the 25th minute, when Rahmad Lunggana scored to the left of an out of position Jonathan Ferrant, making the score, 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Eduardo Paes managed to get in a good position for a shot. AS Maraschin Calcio CIMZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Eduardo Paes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to AS Maraschin Calcio CIMZ getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Eduardo Paes hit a great ball. 34 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rahmad Lunggana. Rahmad Lunggana came free with the goalkeeper in the 38th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Jonathan Ferrant could save by the left post. Rahmad Lunggana struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AS Maraschin Calcio CIMZ. Sean Dekker sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. After having played for 47 minutes, Rahmad Lunggana managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AS Maraschin Calcio CIMZ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rahmad Lunggana was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rahmad Lunggana made a kick off. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sean Dekker, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Rahmad Lunggana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 60th minute Rahmad Lunggana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rahmad Lunggana in the 62nd minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. AS Maraschin Calcio CIMZ's Gu Guang Cheng was substituted for Rahmad Lunggana. AS Maraschin Calcio CIMZ's attentive Ponciano Olea managed to snatch the ball when Guillermo Mariano made a throw-in in the 68th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in AS Maraschin Calcio CIMZ's zone, Tomas Illescas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ferit Boğatekin came out of the goal and Tomas Illescas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Gu Guang Cheng kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot.
