PICCOLE PESTI's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ettore Varglien was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ettore Varglien in the 14th minute of play. With a little luck, PICCOLE PESTI's Miguel Orlondon got control of the ball when Tomas Illescas tried to sneak it across the goal line. Miguel Orlondon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 22nd minute of play. In the 25th minute, Jose Correa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 28 minutes into the game, Alex Chicote was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Venezuela's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave PICCOLE PESTI the free kick. The supporters of PICCOLE PESTI booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alex Chicote didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ettore Varglien sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ettore Varglien in the 33rd minute of play. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Venezuela's Salvador Gisbert managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Iliyan Hadzhistefanov in the 37 minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomas Illescas in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Miguel Orlondon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A sloppy throw-in by Alex Chicote in the 40th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by PICCOLE PESTI's Donato Dossena. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernardino Vedillo in the 41st minute of the match. After 43 played minutes PICCOLE PESTI got a freekick which was hit by Fortunato Brini. 44 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Ettore Varglien came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match clock showed 47 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Ettore Varglien sped through Venezuela's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomas Illescas to make the kick off. When Tomas Illescas came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Illescas couldn't finish the play. After 58 minutes of play, PICCOLE PESTI's Ettore Varglien made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ettore Varglien in the 62nd minute of play. After 65 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Venezuela! PICCOLE PESTI's Amedeo Giacomini was substituted for Ettore Varglien. Miguel Orlondon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 73rd minute of the match. Amedeo Giacomini's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. The supporters of Venezuela booed when PICCOLE PESTI was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iliyan Hadzhistefanov didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 78th minute, Amedeo Giacomini ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Bernardino Vedillo's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Jonathan Ferrant firmly grabbed it by the left post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Amedeo Giacomini in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. PICCOLE PESTI's Iliyan Hadzhistefanov managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Alex Chicote in the 91 minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Amedeo Giacomini got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amedeo Giacomini in the 93rd minute of the match. 96 minutes into the match, PICCOLE PESTI's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Miguel Orlondon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Miguel Orlondon stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tomas Illescas's shot from short distance in the 96th minute. Amedeo Giacomini recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 98th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. PICCOLE PESTI played a much better game than Venezuela and deserved their victory. The Venezuela players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
