Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Bernardino Vedillo started the match with the kick off. Julio Vera came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by PICCOLE PESTI's Bernardino Vedillo. But to his dismay, Bernardino Vedillo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 11th match minute, PICCOLE PESTI was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernabe Urki to maneuver through the defense. In the 13th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. PICCOLE PESTI's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well done corner resulted in Felix Montenegro drilling the ball in to score 1-1 behind PICCOLE PESTI's goalkeeper. 17 minutes into the game, Bernabe Urki was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. PICCOLE PESTI's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. In the 17th match minute, PICCOLE PESTI was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernabe Urki to maneuver through the defense. In the 21st minute, Ettore Varglien ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Julio Vera was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Miguel Orlondon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Donato Dossena struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Julio Vera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for PICCOLE PESTI. Ettore Varglien scored 3-1 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Julio Vera, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Ettore Varglien had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ettore Varglien, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Miguel Orlondon came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Cristian Sancho. But to his dismay, Cristian Sancho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. Miguel Orlondon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 39th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 40th minute of play forced PICCOLE PESTI's goalkeeper Miguel Orlondon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 40 minutes of play, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita made it 3-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Miguel Orlondon was left in no man's land by his defense there! 43 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Ettore Varglien came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Miguel Orlondon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 46th minute of play. The score stood at 3-3 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Daniel Zorita to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luis Andino in the 52nd minute of play forced PICCOLE PESTI's goalkeeper Miguel Orlondon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 54 minutes had been played when some careless play by PICCOLE PESTI's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. Cristian Sancho was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. After a rather tough play, PICCOLE PESTI's Iliyan Hadzhistefanov got a free kick in the 56th minute. 58 minutes into the match, PICCOLE PESTI's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Miguel Orlondon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, PICCOLE PESTI's Miguel Orlondon got control of the ball when Felix Montenegro tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 63 minutes, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Sancho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 66 minutes into the game, PICCOLE PESTI's Amedeo Giacomini nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Julio Vera made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-3. After a rather tough play, PICCOLE PESTI's Iliyan Hadzhistefanov got a free kick in the 68th minute. 70 minutes into the match, PICCOLE PESTI's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Andino came free, but Miguel Orlondon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Miguel Orlondon came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Luis Andino. But to his dismay, Luis Andino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-4. Iliyan Hadzhistefanov hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. 74 minutes into the match, PICCOLE PESTI's Amedeo Giacomini sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Amedeo Giacomini received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 80 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Amedeo Giacomini came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Miguel Orlondon made a huge save. After some careless play in the PICCOLE PESTI defense, Daniel Zorita kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Miguel Orlondon. The PICCOLE PESTI fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Miguel Orlondon should have stopped the shot. When the match was over Ecuador could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than PICCOLE PESTI throughout the match.
