Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Selim Zor in the 11th minute of play. ...'s Frank Frisck got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Frank Frisck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tomas Illescas took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sarper Kürşat. Sarper Kürşat dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Sarper Kürşat showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patricio Costa in the 23rd minute of the match. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Sarper Kürşat tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Rigoberto Mina got a free kick in the 32nd minute. With his leg Jonathan Ferrant managed to avoid a goal in the 35thth minute, when ...'s Frank Frisck fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Sarper Kürşat showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 36th minute of the match. Frank Frisck received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jonathan Ferrant came out and tried to block the shot, but Frank Frisck slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 38th minute. After a rather tough play, ...'s Robert Babicki got a free kick in the 40th minute. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Erdeniz Bekiroğlu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
