Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Edelmiro Cheche took the kick off in the first half of the match. Bruno Macario showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. Berutti FC's Bruno Macario played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 13th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edelmiro Cheche got free with Julio Vera in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Berutti FC's Melquiades Lopes got a free kick in the 19th minute. When Niceto Aznaro fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Berutti FC's protests and gave Niceto Aznaro a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Berutti FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Niceto Aznaro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Bruno Macario tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 24 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Reynaldo Raebert. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reynaldo Raebert in the 35th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristian Sancho scored 1-1 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bruno Macario, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Daniel Zorita blasted a shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bruno Macario having to make a save. After having played for 43 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

After 51 minutes of play, Berutti FC's Sebastian Lobo made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Julio Vera was left in no man's land by his defense there! Angelino Castulo hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. In the 58th minute, Cristian Sancho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 61 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastian Lobo came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edelmiro Cheche in the 62nd minute of play. In the 78thth minute of the game Edelmiro Cheche who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 82 minutes into the game, Cristian Sancho lined in a short shot 2-2 behind a frustrated Bruno Macario. Reynaldo Raebert took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Julio Vera. Julio Vera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. When Angelino Castulo came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Berutti FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Angelino Castulo couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sebastian Lobo in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edelmiro Cheche in the 93rd minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edelmiro Cheche in the 96th minute of play. The Berutti FC support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
