Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Harun Mengüer made the kick off which started today's match. 10 minutes into the match, Harun Mengüer dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Dante Lacasa, 1-0. In the 20th minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stipe Pletikosa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Stipe Pletikosa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 23rd minute of play. After 23 minutes, Alberto Tafalla made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Fortuna 86 Szczecin's Stipe Pletikosa tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 27th minute of play forced Fortuna 86 Szczecin's goalkeeper Stipe Pletikosa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joel Gaona struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Stipe Pletikosa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mexico. Joel Gaona received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Stipe Pletikosa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Stipe Pletikosa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 34th minute of the match. Macos Graciani got a throw-in 39 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Joel Gaona. Stipe Pletikosa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Joel Gaona to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, Alberto Tafalla lined in a short shot 1-2 behind a frustrated Stipe Pletikosa. Stipe Pletikosa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Joel Gaona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fortuna 86 Szczecin's István Markos was substituted for Nencho Shumarov. Fortuna 86 Szczecin made a substitution. Jorne Van Mellart replaced Mariusz Gruchacz. In the 65th minute, Mexico's Alberto Tafalla ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Stipe Pletikosa. Stipe Pletikosa yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. Dante Lacasa came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by Fortuna 86 Szczecin's Roberto Nirvana. But to his dismay, Roberto Nirvana quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. With a little luck, Fortuna 86 Szczecin's Stipe Pletikosa got control of the ball when Alberto Tafalla tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jorne Van Mellart hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. 76 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Roberto Nirvana came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Stipe Pletikosa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Tadeusz Bartoszek hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Stipe Pletikosa was out of position in the 91 minute of play, and Joel Gaona capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Joel Gaona really showed his touch with that goal: 2-4. When the match had gone on for 94 minutes, Joel Gaona took a quick shot and it went in 2-5 without a chance for Stipe Pletikosa to make any attempt to save it. When the final whistle sounded Mexico left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Fortuna 86 Szczecin.
