With an extended leg and a bit of luck Grant Muro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Serafin Bonadona in the 8th minute of play. In the 12th minute of the game Pascual Errapel made a throw-in which Horacio Ospetsu played forward. A collision led to Martelli City Club getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Korneliusz Lizewski hit a great ball. After 16 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Camilo Gaos. A hard shot by Valdo Vabamüürlane from long distance, 16 minutes into the match, got Jonathan Ferrant's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Serafin Bonadona in the 17th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 22nd minute of the game Pascual Errapel made a throw-in which Horacio Ospetsu played forward. In the 26th match minute, Martelli City Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guillermo Osmundo to maneuver through the defense. Martelli City Club's Grant Muro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 28th minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Serafin Bonadona sent off a good shot on target. When Tomas Illescas came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Illescas couldn't finish the play. In the 33rd minute, Serafin Bonadona ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. In the 35th match minute, Martelli City Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guillermo Osmundo to maneuver through the defense. Grant Muro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 43rd minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Serafin Bonadona made a kick off. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Serafin Bonadona kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Patricio Costa during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 56th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patricio Costa to maneuver through the defense. Martelli City Club made a substitution. Miguel Luix replaced Valdo Vabamüürlane. Rigoberto Mina's late challenge caught a Martelli City Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pascual Errapel missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 76 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Jonathan Ferrant right hand side. Tomas Illescas in the 84thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Grant Muro, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 84 minutes into the game, Tomas Illescas lined in a short shot 4-1 behind a frustrated Grant Muro. After a defensive mix-up in Martelli City Club's zone, Patricio Costa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Grant Muro came out of the goal and Patricio Costa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
