A well-hit corner resulted in António Silva heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. An unexpectedly hard shot by Macit Sağıt in the 20th minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 22 minutes into the match, Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Amílcar Leiria. Amílcar Leiria might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pedro Manzanares. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Amílcar Leiria ran back to his position shaking his head. 23 minutes into the match, Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Amílcar Leiria. Amílcar Leiria sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Amílcar Leiria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 40thth minute of the game Macit Sağıt who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Colombia's Pedro Manzanares was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Macit Sağıt blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pedro Manzanares having to make a save. Amílcar Leiria in the 42ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Pedro Manzanares, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Pedro Manzanares stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Macit Sağıt's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute. Amílcar Leiria's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pedro Manzanares read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Amílcar Leiria made the kick off in the second half. When Suprs Academia's Macit Sağıt in the 51st minute got a chance for a shot 51st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Macit Sağıt made in the 61st minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Wiliam Queiroz. After having played for 63 minutes, Amílcar Leiria managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Suprs Academia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Amílcar Leiria was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 63 minutes of play, Suprs Academia's Macit Sağıt made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pedro Manzanares was left in no man's land by his defense there! Abram Sarmiento who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 76thth minute tested the skills of Jacek Ptaszek when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 78th minute, Abram Sarmiento reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jacek Ptaszek. The goal made the score 1-1. Suprs Academia made a substitution. Burt Cawthorne replaced Bai Shi Ao. Colombia made a substitution. Abram Secada replaced Axel Montenegro. After having played for 82 minutes, Kevin Mastache managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Colombia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kevin Mastache was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 84 minutes of play, Colombia's Ignacio Mastache made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jacek Ptaszek was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Suprs Academia's Gabriel Abrantes got a free kick in the 90th minute. If Ignacio Mastache had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Colombia eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
