Igor Brattsov was a little too slow when Francisco Seco got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 59th minute. The score was now 1-2. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the match clock showed 83 minutes, the score became 2-4 when Innokentiy Balaban sped through Uruguay's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Joaquin Gayoso. Francisco Seco took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Igor Brattsov. Igor Brattsov dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-5. Camilo Franco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Igor Brattsov made a huge save. Francisco Seco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Igor Brattsov having to interfere. Uruguay played a much better game than Apatit Kirovsk FC and deserved their victory. The Apatit Kirovsk FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
