Juan Eduardo Atenas kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Mariano Lacasa received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Orlín Rozas came out and tried to block the shot, but Mariano Lacasa slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 16th minute. TurboUC's Orlín Rozas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save TurboUC from getting a goal against them. Thiago Pliego took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miguel Ángel Riesco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Miguel Ángel Riesco in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Thiago Pliego saved Chile from getting behind. Orlando Casaus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Orlín Rozas having to interfere. In the 27th match minute, TurboUC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juan Eduardo Atenas to maneuver through the defense. 29 minutes into the match, Chile's Mariano Lacasa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Orlín Rozas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Orlín Rozas made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Orlando Casaus sent off a good shot on target. Chile's Thiago Pliego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miguel Ángel Riesco in the 36th minute of play. After 40 played minutes Chile got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Indiano. Thiago Pliego took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miguel Ángel Riesco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Mariano Lacasa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 47th match minute, TurboUC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juan Eduardo Atenas to maneuver through the defense. TurboUC made a substitution. Podador Escudero replaced Dušan Tadić. The supporters of Chile booed when TurboUC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juan Eduardo Atenas didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Miguel Ángel Riesco made the kick off in the second half. After 56 played minutes TurboUC got a freekick which was hit by Juan González. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind TurboUC's goalkeeper Orlín Rozas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Orlín Rozas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Lacasa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 61st minute of play forced TurboUC's goalkeeper Orlín Rozas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mariano Lacasa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Orlín Rozas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. A collision led to Chile getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Gerardo Pozo hit a great ball. Orlín Rozas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Lacasa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Chile booed when TurboUC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thomas Lawrie didn't get a good kick on the ball. John Snow kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. After some careless play in the TurboUC defense, Mariano Lacasa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Orlín Rozas. The TurboUC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Orlín Rozas should have stopped the shot. Orlín Rozas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Orlín Rozas came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by Chile's Mariano Lacasa. But to his dismay, Mariano Lacasa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Chile had won after a very even match.
