Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) New Alianza FC's Jesse Van den Ende started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The shot was a little too simple and Lautaro Navarro could save by the left post. 11 minutes into the game, Jesse Van den Ende recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Lautaro Navarro. Jesse Van den Ende showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Boni Borica lost his temper 22 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in New Alianza FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 22nd minute. Penalty! Restu Almendras had in the 23rdth minute some difficulties stopping Edmundo Espiga's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Honduras from getting a goal against them. In the 37th minute Peio Gormaz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lautaro Navarro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Angel Jonsansoro made in the 40th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Honduras's Christian Sancho. Eduino Caspe made in the 41st minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Honduras's Esteban Carvallo. A collision led to New Alianza FC getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Bertol Heban hit a great ball. After 46 played minutes, Honduras's Edmundo Espiga shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Restu Almendras came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Honduras reached it. Restu Almendras made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastian Villa in the 47th minute of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edmundo Espiga made a kick off. Lautaro Navarro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anacleto Cuerva in the 52nd minute of the match. Anacleto Cuerva scored 3-0 in the 55th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lautaro Navarro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Anacleto Cuerva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 68 minutes, Valentín Carvallo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Honduras and the New Alianza FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Honduras getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Valentín Carvallo hit a great ball. Lautaro Navarro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Saul Aramberri in the 69th minute of the match. After 76 played minutes, New Alianza FC's Anacleto Cuerva shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in New Alianza FC reached it. Angel Jonsansoro made in the 88th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Anacleto Cuerva immediately put the ball in play. Christian Sancho charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Christian Sancho the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Lautaro Navarro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Saul Aramberri's shot from short distance in the 96th minute.
