The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Haiti. The goalkeeper, Noel Seide, was totally fooled by Olds School Pepo's German Jaen, who 12 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Ernso Constant's late challenge caught a Olds School Pepo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ernso Constant helped the player get up and apologised. In the 15th match minute, Haiti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ernso Constant to maneuver through the defense. Haiti's Rodney Emmanuel managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Baldomiro Fernanco in the 17 minute of the game. A collision led to Haiti getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Ernso Constant hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Haiti defense, Severiano Dantel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Noel Seide. The Haiti fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Noel Seide should have stopped the shot. In the 30th minute Eloy Oskarbi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Noel Seide saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Noel Seide showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emanuel Tancredo in the 32nd minute of the match. Baldomiro Fernanco made in the 34th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Haiti's Rodney Emmanuel. In the 36th minute, Eloy Oskarbi reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Noel Seide. The goal made the score 4-0. In the 40th minute, Olds School Pepo's Emanuel Tancredo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 5-0. 42 minutes into the match, Emanuel Tancredo notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Haiti's Noel Seide. Noel Seide was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a little luck, Haiti's Noel Seide got control of the ball when Gualterio Bonadona tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 6-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gualterio Bonadona to make the kick off. 55 minutes into the game, Olds School Pepo's Eloy Oskarbi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Noel Seide made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. Severiano Dantel blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Noel Seide having to make a save. Noel Seide took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Severiano Dantel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. German Jaen made in the 63rd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Severiano Dantel however managed to control. Noel Seide showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Severiano Dantel, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. German Jaen made in the 69th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Haiti's Felix Dorval. Celestino Palos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Haiti's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gualterio Bonadona was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0. Noel Seide made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gualterio Bonadona in the 80th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jonathan Alphonse during the 83rd minute.
