Peyote's Zenon Dembkowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Berganza in the 11th minute of play. Panama's Tomas Berganza got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Peyote's Eugen Văleanu got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Panama booed when Peyote was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lorenzo Seme didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Peyote's zone, Abraham Alguacil stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zenon Dembkowski came out of the goal and Abraham Alguacil tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Peyote's Zenon Dembkowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Berganza in the 24th minute of play. Baldomiro Peio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Marcos Cotilla made a huge save. Marcos Cotilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eugen Văleanu in the 38th minute of the match. In the 42nd match minute, Panama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abraham Alguacil to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Panama's Marcos Cotilla got control of the ball when Isaias Gregory tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 43rd minute, Isaias Gregory reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Marcos Cotilla. The goal made the score 1-0. After 47 played minutes Peyote got a freekick which was hit by Feliciano Bizen. After 48 played minutes, Panama's Abraham Alguacil shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Zenon Dembkowski came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Panama reached it.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomas Berganza to make the kick off. Baldomiro Peio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 61st minute, Panama's Isidoro Sarmiento dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Peyote made a substitution. Artemio Isauro replaced Baldomiro Peio. Isidoro Sarmientos short, quick shot in the 65thth minute got Zenon Dembkowski to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After having played for 67 minutes, Eugen Văleanu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Peyote's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eugen Văleanu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Peyote's Zenon Dembkowski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save Peyote from getting a goal against them. In the 79th minute, Tomas Berganza fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Zenon Dembkowski, passed just outside the right post. 2-1 became the score in the 82nd minute when Eugen Văleanu elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Marcos Cotilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eugen Văleanu in the 89th minute of the match. 92 minutes into the match, Panama's goal looked a bit too open when Artemio Isauro came free, but Marcos Cotilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Peyote's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
