The supporters of Honduras booed when Peyote was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eleuterio Fernandes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sebastian Villa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 11 minutes into the game, Feliciano Bizen lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Lautaro Navarro. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eugen Văleanu in the 17th minute of play forced Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lautaro Navarro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eugen Văleanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Lautaro Navarro was out of position in the 20 minute of play, and Eugen Văleanu capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Eugen Văleanu really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Baldomiro Peio's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Lautaro Navarro firmly grabbed it by the left post. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Baldomiro Peio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Honduras's zone, Isaias Gregory stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lautaro Navarro came out of the goal and Isaias Gregory tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Peyote's Zenon Dembkowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 55th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 57th minute of play forced Peyote's goalkeeper Zenon Dembkowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lautaro Navarro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eugen Văleanu in the 60th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baldomiro Peio in the 62nd minute of play forced Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lautaro Navarro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 70th minute Feliciano Bizen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lautaro Navarro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lautaro Navarro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Feliciano Bizen's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. Esteban Carvallo kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. 80 minutes into the match, Feliciano Bizen had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lautaro Navarro. Honduras's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Feliciano Bizen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. In the 82nd match minute, Peyote was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Florentino Novo to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eugen Văleanu in the 85th minute of play forced Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
