Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leo Iigo in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dante Lacasa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Leo Iigo, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 14 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Dante Lacasa was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Christian Orlan had great luck who in the 17thth minute grab hold of the ball when Joel Gaona from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. In the 18th minute Mexico were awarded a corner. Joel Gaona went to the cornerflag to take it. CE LAJEADENSE RS's Christian Orlan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save CE LAJEADENSE RS from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zhuo Chao Chuan in the 28th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Christian Orlan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 30th minute of play. In the 31st minute Mexico were awarded a corner. Joel Gaona went to the cornerflag to take it. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leo Iigo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leo Iigo in the 36th minute of play. With a little luck, CE LAJEADENSE RS's Christian Orlan got control of the ball when Lautaro Mancebo tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Alberto Tafalla came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the Mexico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alberto Tafalla couldn't finish the play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Joel Gaona stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Christian Orlan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lautaro Mancebo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The attack was good, but when Leo Iigo in the 63rd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. CE LAJEADENSE RS's Renato Quadros was substituted for Udo Nigula. Christian Orlan came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo. But to his dismay, Lautaro Mancebo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. CE LAJEADENSE RS made a substitution. Anísio Koehler replaced Caetano Saad. In the 76th match minute, Mexico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lorenzo Cazalla to maneuver through the defense. Leo Iigo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Dante Lacasa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Renato Quadros kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. There was no doubt that Mexico were the better team. Mexico's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
