Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nacho Barbutski in the 5th minute of the match. Nacho Barbutski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Vladimir Tomanov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 8th minute of play. Nacho Barbutski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nacho Barbutski in the 18th minute of the match. After 19 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jose Correa. In the 22nd minute, Nacho Barbutski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Guillermo Mariano hit a great ball. Nacho Barbutski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. Tomas Illescas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vladimir Tomanov having to make a save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jose Correa during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Loko Plovdiv booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Correa didn't get a good kick on the ball. 43 minutes into the match, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vladimir Tomanov narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 45 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Guillermo Mariano. In the 46th match minute, Loko Plovdiv was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Galabin Kalinkov to maneuver through the defense. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomas Illescas made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nacho Barbutski in the 53rd minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 55th minute, Tomas Illescas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nacho Barbutski, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. In the 59th minute, Nacho Barbutski made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Loko Plovdiv's Stancho Vunov was substituted for Vencho Zlatarev. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Nacho Barbutski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Nacho Barbutski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nacho Barbutski in the 83rd minute of play. Vladimir Tomanov made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Tomas Illescas sent off a good shot on target. Nacho Barbutski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nacho Barbutski in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Patricio Costa charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Patricio Costa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Loko Plovdiv were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Venezuela for a fine match.
