The referee showed Toninho Leão the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Paraguay booed when Predador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Toninho Leão didn't get a good kick on the ball. 5 minutes into the match, Moisés Marquez notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Paraguay's Jacobo Nores. Jacobo Nores was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 10 minutes of play, Predador's Moisés Marquez made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jacobo Nores was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Predador's Walmir Neiva in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Paraguay's goalie prevented a goal. Waldemar Cardozo hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. After 17 minutes of play, Predador's Walmir Neiva made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jacobo Nores was left in no man's land by his defense there! Hector Covarrubias's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Denílson de Andrade read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. Jacobo Nores made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Walmir Neiva in the 26th minute of play. Jacobo Nores didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Walmir Neiva went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. In the 32nd match minute, Paraguay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jaime Pardo to maneuver through the defense. Jacobo Nores came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by Predador's Moisés Marquez. But to his dismay, Moisés Marquez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. If Walmir Neiva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 39 minutes, Walmir Neiva made it 0-6 with a short kick to the right side. Paraguay's Jacobo Nores tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Jacobo Nores took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Walmir Neiva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 45th minute Walmir Neiva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacobo Nores saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jacobo Nores came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by Predador's Moisés Marquez. But to his dismay, Moisés Marquez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. Disappointed in the 0-7 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Walmir Neiva to strike the kick off in the second half. A hard shot 51 in the game by Moisés Marquez from a close distance when the talented Jacobo Nores managed to make a qualified save. Paraguay's players were relieved. If Moisés Marquez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Walmir Neiva scored 0-10 in the 60th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jacobo Nores, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 64 minutes had been played when some careless play by Predador's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jaime Pardo was slow to take the kick. During this time Paraguay's players had a chance to rest. It was a well-played corner which Xavier Zoido managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. When the match had gone on for 68 minutes, Walmir Neiva put it in 0-11 from a short distance just to the right of Jacobo Nores. Jacobo Nores was a little too slow when Moisés Marquez got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 73rd minute. The score was now 0-13. In the 76th minute of the match, Moisés Marquez got a very nice opportunity to score, but Jacobo Nores was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Moisés Marquez came free with the goalkeeper in the 79th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Jacobo Nores could save by the left post. 84 minutes into the match, Moisés Marquez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jacobo Nores. Paraguay's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Moisés Marquez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-14. The supporters of Paraguay booed when Predador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Waldemar Cardozo didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 93 minutes, Waldemar Cardozo took a quick shot and it went in 0-15 without a chance for Jacobo Nores to make any attempt to save it. Jacobo Nores was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Walmir Neiva showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-16 in the 96 minute of play. Predador's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
