Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Henry Åkesson kicked off to start the match. If Felix Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 5 minutes of play, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Patricio Toledo was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 8th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felix Montes to maneuver through the defense. Patricio Toledo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Cabildo FC defense, Daniel Zorita kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Patricio Toledo. The Cabildo FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Patricio Toledo should have stopped the shot. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 22nd minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Cabildo FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Ecuador's Cristian Sancho to fire away a dangerous shot which Patricio Toledo despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Henry Åkesson in the 29th minute. Patricio Toledo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luis Andino, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. An unexpected shot in the 37th minute by Remicio Bueno got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Agustín Saelices recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 42nd minute Gaspar Peseiro saw that he had a good position to shoot and he shot a long ball on target, but the ball went just outside the left post. Patricio Toledo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis Andino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Cabildo FC's Remicio Bueno got a free kick in the 45th minute. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a free kick in the 46th minute.

Daniel Zorita's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 51stth minute, Patricio Toledo skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 52 played minutes Cabildo FC got a freekick which was hit by Henry Åkesson. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Patricio Toledo made a huge save. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gaspar Peseiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Camilo Gisbert hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 70th minute, Henry Åkesson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cabildo FC's Constancio Binder was substituted for Gaspar Peseiro. An unexpectedly hard shot by Constancio Binder in the 73rd minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Remicio Bueno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Cabildo FC getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Aaron Erazo hit a great ball. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henry Åkesson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Cabildo FC's Remicio Bueno got a free kick in the 87th minute. Patricio Toledo was out of position in the 89 minute of play, and Daniel Zorita capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Daniel Zorita really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Constancio Binder in the 92nd minute of play. Ecuador's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
