Abraham Alguacil ran over to the corner to take the kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by 鲁挺帆 during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 16th match minute, Cylon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 鲁挺帆 to maneuver through the defense. 林城谦 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Berganza in the 18th minute of play. 林城谦 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Berganza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 27th match minute, Cylon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 姚广邦 to maneuver through the defense. In the 29th minute, Tomas Berganza got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Abraham Alguacil took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 31st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for 林城谦. Cylon's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 34th minute 汪飞文 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Cotilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 35th minute, 沈迪志 ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marcos Cotilla was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. When 唐昂源 fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cylon's protests and gave 唐昂源 a yellow card for diving instead. 唐昂源 kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. After 42 played minutes, Panama's Abraham Alguacil shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper 林城谦 came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Panama reached it. 43 minutes into the game, Alex Cambeiro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Panama's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cylon the free kick. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

In the 78th match minute, Cylon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 宋傲远 to maneuver through the defense. 80 minutes into the game, 沈迪志 was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cylon's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Panama the free kick. The supporters of Panama booed when Cylon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. 沈迪志 didn't get a good kick on the ball. 林城谦 came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by Panama's Tomas Berganza. But to his dismay, Tomas Berganza quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. With his leg 林城谦 managed to avoid a goal in the 89thth minute, when Panama's Abraham Alguacil fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 92 minutes, Felipe Ros mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Panama and the Cylon players grew even worse after the yellow card. 沈迪志 took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcos Cotilla. Marcos Cotilla dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1.
