Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Daniel Zorita made the kick off which started today's match. Patricio Toledo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis Andino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felix Montenegro in the 7th minute of play forced Cabildo FC's goalkeeper Patricio Toledo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 9 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Cabildo FC's Patricio Toledo. Patricio Toledo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Patricio Toledo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 12th minute of play. In the 13th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Cabildo FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaspar Peseiro in the 17th minute of the match. Cristian Sancho blasted a shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Patricio Toledo having to make a save. Cabildo FC's Patricio Toledo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 18th minute of play. Cristian Sancho succeeded in the game's 18th minute to get real power on a long shot . Cabildo FC's Patricio Toledo hadn't the time to block the shot which was pasted into the goal, 0-2! Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Sancho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Patricio Toledo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Gaspar Peseiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Gaspar Peseiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 33rd minute, Cristian Sancho made a precise shot to the right of Patricio Toledo. Cabildo FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gaspar Peseiro during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 35th match minute, Cabildo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gaspar Peseiro to maneuver through the defense. Cabildo FC's Patricio Toledo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Andino in the 36th minute of play. In the 38th minute, Felix Montenegro made a precise shot to the right of Patricio Toledo. Cabildo FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. Cristian Sancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 47th minute, Cristian Sancho left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Henry Åkesson made the kick off in the second half. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Henry Åkesson, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. A nice corner shot did that Daniel Zorita got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Patricio Toledo quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaspar Peseiro in the 59th minute of the match. Cabildo FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gaspar Peseiro in the 60th minute. Cabildo FC's Gaspar Peseiro was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Julio Vera in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaspar Peseiro in the 62nd minute of play. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Remicio Bueno, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. After 69 minutes Ecuador's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gaspar Peseiro who took care of the corner kick. Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cabildo FC made a substitution. Tor Clavijo replaced Odón Docal. Cabildo FC made a substitution. Constancio Binder replaced Gaspar Peseiro. In the 75th minute, Remicio Bueno made a precise shot to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-5. In the 78th minute, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Patricio Toledo. Patricio Toledo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-6. Patricio Toledo was a little too slow when Daniel Zorita got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 85th minute. The score was now 1-7. In the 88th minute, Constancio Binder got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cristian Sancho took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Patricio Toledo. Patricio Toledo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-8. Antonio Arias hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Daniel Zorita was extremely unlucky when he, in the 97th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Ecuador's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
