Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tomas Illescas started the match with the kick off. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mauricio Manuelo in the 4th minute of the match. Mauricio Manuelo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alfredo Tab fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. Jonathan Ferrant was out of position in the 15 minute of play, and Mauricio Manuelo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Mauricio Manuelo really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. In the 18th minute, Mauricio Manuelo made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. After a rather tough play, Talleres's Jorge Martínez got a free kick in the 21st minute. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mauricio Manuelo in the 23rd minute. Mauricio Manuelo might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonathan Ferrant. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mauricio Manuelo ran back to his position shaking his head. Alfredo Tab who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 31stth minute tested the skills of Jonathan Ferrant when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Alfredo Tab's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 32ndth minute, Jonathan Ferrant skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Jonathan Ferrant stood somewhat misplaced when Alfredo Tab came free in front of goal and shot 3-0 to the left of him in the 32 minute. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. Mauricio Manuelo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jonathan Ferrant came out and tried to block the shot, but Mauricio Manuelo slotted it home off the left post making it 4-0 in the 43rd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mauricio Manuelo got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 48th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

Talleres made a substitution. Izydor Bugajski replaced Perico Pérez. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mauricio Manuelo was the one to do the kick off. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alfredo Tab went, in the 53rd minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mauricio Manuelo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 59th minute, Mauricio Manuelo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Talleres's Mauricio Manuelo in the 60th minute got a chance for a shot 60th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Venezuela's goalie prevented a goal. 62 minutes into the game, Alfredo Tab cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Mauricio Manuelo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 71 minutes into the match, Alfredo Tab had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alfredo Tab was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. In the 76th minute, Jonathan Venegas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 79 minutes into the match, Mauricio Manuelo notched a goal, 8-0, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 81 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Patricio Costa. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mauricio Manuelo in the 82nd minute of play. In the 86th minute, Mauricio Manuelo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Talleres fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 9-0. Mauricio Manuelo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. Josef Tunberg struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Talleres. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Camilo Gaos got a free kick in the 97th minute. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mauricio Manuelo's shot from short distance in the 98th minute.
