Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Andy Gudmundsson started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jaime Pardo in the 3rd minute of play forced Bennis's goalkeeper Sven-Arne Eklund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 5 minutes into the match, Hector Covarrubias had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sven-Arne Eklund. Bennis's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hector Covarrubias was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. When Paraguay's Jaime Pardo in the 9th minute got a chance for a shot 9th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bennis's goalie prevented a goal. After 11 minutes, Albin Lenberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bennis and the Paraguay players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Bennis's Albin Lenberg got a free kick in the 11th minute. 15 minutes into the match, Bennis's goal looked a bit too open when Jaime Pardo came free, but Sven-Arne Eklund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jaime Pardo scored 0-2 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sven-Arne Eklund, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 24 minutes into the match, Paraguay's Jaime Pardo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sven-Arne Eklund narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 25 minutes into the match, Bennis's goal looked a bit too open when Jaime Pardo came free, but Sven-Arne Eklund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 27 minutes into the match, Jaime Pardo notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Bennis's Sven-Arne Eklund. Sven-Arne Eklund was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jaime Pardo in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sven-Arne Eklund saved Bennis from getting behind. In the 32nd match minute, Bennis was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hans Kielberg to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jaime Pardo in the 33rd minute of play forced Bennis's goalkeeper Sven-Arne Eklund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Albin Lenberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jacobo Nores read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. Jaime Pardo took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sven-Arne Eklund. Sven-Arne Eklund dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Sven-Arne Eklund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hector Covarrubias in the 47th minute of the match. After the first half Paraguay were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Sven-Arne Eklund made an important save on a dangerous shot by Primitivo Escribano in the 52nd minute. When Primitivo Escribano came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Paraguay fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Primitivo Escribano couldn't finish the play. Bennis's Sven-Arne Eklund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Primitivo Escribano in the 57th minute of play. In the 58th minute Jaime Pardo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sven-Arne Eklund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paraguay's Hector Covarrubias got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A hard shot 61 in the game by Jaime Pardo from a close distance when the talented Sven-Arne Eklund managed to make a qualified save. Bennis's players were relieved. In the 62nd minute, Hector Covarrubias got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Jaime Pardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jaime Pardo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Andy Gudmundsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacobo Nores having to interfere. Jaime Pardo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sven-Arne Eklund read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Jaime Pardo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sven-Arne Eklund was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. Andy Gudmundsson hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. After having played for 90 minutes, Jaime Pardo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Paraguay's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jaime Pardo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 94th minute of the game Jose Sanz made a throw-in which Primitivo Escribano played forward.
