Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. Ecuador's Antonio Arias was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Kadri Erdemer in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 22nd minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kadri Erdemer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Valdo Corrêa hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. 24 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kadri Erdemer narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 29th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. 34 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lei Mo Feng. Kadri Erdemer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cristian Sancho struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Kadri Erdemer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. 45 minutes into the game, Lei Mo Feng recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Julio Vera. Lei Mo Feng showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0.

After having played for 51 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lei Mo Feng in the 52nd minute of play. 54 minutes into the match, Lei Mo Feng had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lei Mo Feng was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. In the 56th minute, Daniel Zorita hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zacarias Cordera in the 61st minute of play. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lei Mo Feng's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lei Mo Feng in the 68th minute of play. After having played for 72 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Daniel Zorita kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lei Mo Feng, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Antakya♡HATAY's Kadri Erdemer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 83rd minute of play. In the 87th minute Lei Mo Feng shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kadri Erdemer made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Felix Montenegro sent off a good shot on target. In the 89th match minute, Antakya♡HATAY was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valdo Corrêa to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Antakya♡HATAY's zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kadri Erdemer came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Many of Ecuador's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Ecuador may have spent more time on the ball, but Antakya♡HATAY were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
